UC Davis Talk Wednesday by Dr. Bill Hammond: Exploring the Earth’s Hazards & Changing Climate with Geodetic Network

EPS is please to host a visit and talk on Wed., March 8 by Bill Hammond.  Bill is a Professor of Geodesy and Geophysics, Director of the Nevada Geodetic Laboratory, and Associate Director, Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology.

His talk will be on “Exploring the Earth’s Hazards & Changing Climate with Geodetic Networks.”  Bill is a leader in GPS geodynamics and geodesy, and the talk should be a good one! 

5:10-6pm in Roessler 55 on the UCD campus.

    • Hello Jim. All of these talks are open and free; no registration needed! And everyone is also welcome for cookies and tea beforehand, starting ~3:30 in the EPS building (2nd floor, south-end atrium).
